The main businesses of Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd are the production and distribution of sugar, as well as its byproducts, such as molasses, bagasse, and press mud, as well as spirits, such as ethanol and power. It was established in March 2015 with the intention of transferring the Uttar Pradesh sugar operations of Upper Ganges Sugar & Industries Limited (Upper Ganges) and Oudh Sugar Mills Limited (Oudh) to a different organisation.

Q1.What are the Products and Service offerings of the Company?
1.Sugar: In FY23, the Co crushed approximately 57 lakh tonnes of sugarcane, with an average recovery of 10%. Five lakh tonnes of sugar were produced.
2.Distillery: The company produces all of the ethanol and alcohol from its molasses output internally. In FY23, it produced about 9 cr ltr of ethanol, of which 6 cr ltr came from the B-Heavy route.
3.Power: The Company is able to generate power from bagasse. In FY23, it generated about 24 crore units of power.
